Weekend YouTube Roundup!

mollyporterIt's Sunday Afternoon, and except for my Grandfather's birthday dinner (which isn't until this evening), I gloriously have nothing to do all day - so I've been catching up on what I've missed on YouTube and rounding up fun, wacky, and just plain awesome videos to share!
The Vertical Tango. Watch because:
• acrobats are awesome
• the tango is always sexy
• the woman looks a bit like Tilda Swinton
Amanda Palmer and The Young Punx - Map of Tasmania. Watch because:
• AFP has a knack for super-catchy totally ridiculous songs
• it's got some pretty great dance moves
• the colors are pretty
• oh yeah- and it's a song about ladies rockin' their carpets au naturel:
3 Minutes. Watch it because
• in addition to being known between them for Glee, So You Think You Can Dance, The LXD, and the Step Up movies, Harry Shum Jr and tWitch are Super Mega Foxy Awesome Hot
• there will be a prequel and sequels coming soon at the official 3 Minutes Website
• the video is mysterious and dark and super-intriguing
• and for those of you who are enormous geeks like me- THEY FIGHT WITH LIGHT SABERS!!!!
The Better-Than-An-eCard Happy Birthday YouTube Video. Watch it because:
• I'm wishing my friend Rosie a Happy Birthday!
• It could be your birthday, too! If it is, Happy Birthday!
And adding this after-the-fact, because it is super amazing- Chris Colfer's Golden Globe acceptance speech. Watch it because:
• Chris Colfer is adorable
• HE WON A GOLDEN GLOBE!
• It's awesome to see his super supportive cast as his name is announced, and their faces as he's talking. Lea Michele actually chokes up! Aw..
• He is about a million times more eloquent than he has any right to be, and ends his speech by telling any kid who's been told that they can't be who they are or can't have what they want because of who they are "Screw that, kids"... only he says it about a million times more adorably than I am textually capable of conveying so JUST WATCH IT!
